A cozy campsite builder for PC: what makes Camping Resort Simulator different

In short: Camping Resort Simulator is a cozy building and management game for PC in which you turn an empty stretch of coast into a camping resort. You do not play as an employee in first person: you plan the whole resort from above, as in Planet Coaster or Planet Zoo.
What kind of game is it?
You start with an empty beach. You lay out paths, place pitches for tents and caravans, build toilet blocks and a store, and welcome your first guests. Over time you add glamping, bungalows and villas, plus a pool, a beach bar, a playground and show nights on the activity plaza.
It is a management sim at a relaxed pace: you keep an eye on income, costs and the reputation of your resort, and you can pause or speed up time whenever you like.
Seen from above, not in first person
Many camping simulators are played in first person: you walk around the site, clean, repair and serve guests. Camping Resort Simulator takes a different route.
- Your role: you are the planner and owner, not an employee.
- Your view: you see the whole resort from the air and place buildings, paths and plants freely in the landscape.
- Your goal: a place guests want to come back to.
A place, not a grid
Every plot has its own quality and feel. A bungalow tucked into the right corner of the coast becomes somewhere special. The same bungalow dropped just anywhere is only a box.
You can see this all over the game:
- A pitch belongs where camping already feels inviting: some green, washrooms at hand and the bustle far away.
- The pool is the heart of the lively area and should not sit next to villas or glamping.
- One toilet block per area: nobody wants to cross the campsite in slippers.

Guests you can watch
You can click any visitor and follow their day: where they wander, what they enjoy, what they were hoping to find. Families, young groups and guests looking for quiet all want different things, and they show you through what they do.

The free demo is playable on Steam from October 1 to 26, 2026. After that, the game will launch in Early Access. The date has not been announced yet.
